One Integrated Workflow. Complete Accountability.
We don't think in isolated operations. We think in outcomes. By taking full ownership of every decision along the manufacturing pathway, we give engineering teams confidence in their build milestones. One team, one timeline, and single-point ownership for the hardware that ships.
Five stages, from first conversation to delivered parts
The same sequence runs whether the job is a one-off prototype or a production release.
-
Define
A project starts with what the component has to do: the assembly it fits into, the loads and environment it sees, and the quantities and dates it's needed on. That context shapes the manufacturing recommendation. It also surfaces requirements a drawing alone doesn't carry, like fit conditions, finish expectations, and what happens to the part after it leaves here.
-
Engineer
Before material is ordered, the drawing package goes through manufacturing review: tolerances against process capability, material selection, workholding, and operation sequence. Where geometry or fit is uncertain we verify it directly, with 3D scanning and printed prototypes. A design question resolved here costs a conversation. Found mid-production, it costs material and schedule.
-
Manufacture
Machining, secondary operations, finishing, and assembly run as one plan with one point of contact. Where a part needs processes beyond our own equipment, such as plating, heat treatment or specialized finishing, we manage those suppliers inside the same schedule. The handoffs are ours to coordinate rather than yours.
-
Verify
Inspection is planned with the job rather than added at the end. Critical dimensions and surface finishes are identified up front and checked against the drawing before parts leave the building. Inspection documentation is supplied when the project requires it.
-
Deliver
Parts arrive cleaned, packaged, and on the schedule set at the start, ready for the next stage of your build. Accountability doesn't end at the dock. If something needs attention after delivery, it comes back to the same people who planned and ran the job.
Who you'll work with
-
Rob
President
Leads project scoping and manufacturing strategy. On most new projects, Rob is the first technical conversation.
-
Mike
Operations
Runs production: scheduling, process planning, and everything on the machines. If your parts are in progress, Mike knows where they are.
-
Wes
Machinist
Sets up and runs the machining, from first articles through production releases.
-
Karen
Commercials
Your contact for order status, scheduling, and delivery. When you call about a job in progress, Karen is the one who picks up.
-
Rocca
Security
Patrols the floor, greets every visitor, and wears her safety glasses like everyone else.
What stays constant
- Integrity
Commitments, not estimates
When a date matters for a product launch or a funding demo, we treat it as fixed. We don't give optimistic projections. We make delivery commitments and keep them.
- Accountability
Single-point ownership
Precision is the sum of every manufacturing decision, not just what happens at the cutting tool. We take complete ownership of the process from raw material to final assembly, so you never have to manage multiple vendors.
- Excellence
Uncompromising precision
Our process controls and GD&T discipline were refined over three decades in high-spec sectors like hydrogen fuel cells, and they carry through every component we build.
- Transparency
Outcomes over operations
We don't hide behind process steps. We work openly with your engineering team on manufacturability problems, and we stay focused on how the final part performs.
Core Tools has exceptional quality, great communication, and a genuinely helpful team. They make the entire process easy from start to finish and consistently deliver precision parts on time.
Send us what you're working on
A drawing package, a STEP file, or a plain-language description of the part is enough to start. We'll come back with questions, a recommended approach, or both.
